On Thursday, August 11th at their annual Conference on Architecture, AIA Tennessee recognized Fourth Capital with a 2022 Interior Design Honor Award.

The design for this new headquarters is tailored and personal, embodying the future of financial services. Floor-to-ceiling glass greets clients and associates and offers sweeping views of the skyline, Cumberland River, and pocket park below. A ribbed motif—inspired by the former flour mills for which the Rolling Mill Hill district was named—gives shape to the scalloped green marble of the lobby desk and informs the details of the custom shelving, mirrors, and walnut millwork in the Living Room and Café.

The jury commented on the “elegant detailing of millwork, careful integration of lighting and systems, and beautiful palette of colors texture and patterns which merge classic and contemporary ideas."
