Vanderbilt University First-Year Residence Hall Celebrates Topping Out

On Friday, July 10th, we celebrated the Topping Out of Vanderbilt University's First-Year Commons Residence Hall.

The new Residence Hall is a two-hundred-bed community for first-year students on the historic Peabody Campus. The project strengthens residential life on the Peabody Campus and supports Vanderbilt’s commitment to an engaging, student-centered living experience. Our design will reinforce the established character of the adjacent campus while creating an inviting, durable home that supports belonging, wellness, and daily connection. The building will align the work with Vanderbilt’s campus planning frameworks and accessibility priorities ensuring it fits visually and functionally within its site context.
