The Finery Wins AIA Tennessee Design Excellence Award

The Finery has won a Merit Award at the AIA Tennessee Design Awards on August 7th, 2025. 

To salute excellence in architecture, AIA Tennessee conducts an annual Design Awards program. This program honors built works of distinction designed by AIA Tennessee members. The program also brings to public attention outstanding examples of architecture. The awards are announced annually at the Design & Honor Awards Celebration during the AIA TN Conference on Architecture.

The judges found that, "Residences at the Finery is a refined residential project. It successfully references the framework for water, change, ecosystems, and well-being. This new residential place acknowledges the sites' industrial past with straight forward materials used to assemble dynamic strategies and facilitate functionality while creating a very interesting urban fabric. Structure, color, texture, and graphics give the building ensemble terrific parameters of identity. The detailing is clean and very well considered, always nodding to its industrial roots without losing its attractive mentality."
