APSU Celebrates the Ribbon Cutting of the new Health Professions Building

On Thursday, September 11th, we celebrated the ribbon cutting of Austin Peay State University's new Health Professions Building! 

The new Health Professions Building houses the School of Nursing, Allied Health, Psychological Counseling, Health & Human Performance, Social Work, Medical Lab Sciences, and the College of Behavioral and Health Sciences’ Dean’s Office. It includes classrooms, student study areas, simulation labs, faculty / administrative offices. In addition to the lab and simulation environments, the program includes two public clinics to meet the growing needs of the community while also providing hands-on real-world student training.  

Congratulations to the entire project team and our incredible partners. We’re thrilled to see this building take shape and become a vital part of the school’s mission to educate the next generation of healthcare professionals.
