HASTINGS Announces Recent Promotions

HASTINGS Architecture announces the promotion of Paul Law to Principal.

Paul is HASTINGS’ Director of Quality Assurance. His elevation to Principal reflects a career defined by disciplined expertise and an unwavering commitment to excellence. He has 34 years of project experience and a depth of industry knowledge that is broad and characterized by precision.

Paul has devoted himself to the advancement of Quality Assurance at HASTINGS for the past ten years, establishing the firm's comprehensive quality control systems and procedures. In close collaboration with the Director of Design Technology and technical staff, he has established the internal building information management (BIM) standards that now govern the firm's documentation practices. He also develops and oversees all project specifications, working directly with each project team to ensure that product selections honor design intent and meet rigorous building performance benchmarks.

Paul is an active member of the American Institute of Architects and the Construction Specifications Institute and holds both the Construction Documents Technologist certification and the LEED Green Associate credential.

HASTINGS Architecture announces the promotion of Daniel Cremin and Kate O'Neil to Associate Principal.

Daniel Cremin blends his passions for design, art and community to produce innovative and award-winning work. His projects span a range of typologies and include The Finery –a mixed-use development in the burgeoning Wedgewood Houston neighborhood; Peabody Union – a mixed-use anchor of the new South Bank neighborhood along the Cumberland River and Smith Springs Community Center. As the founder of HASTINGS ImageWorks, Daniel pushes the boundaries of graphic design and image representation, delivering cutting-edge renderings, presentations and animations. He is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and serves on both the AIA Middle Tennessee Committee on Design and the AIA Tennessee Conference on Architecture Committee.

Kate O'Neil is both a licensed Architect and an NCIDQ-certified Interior Designer, a combination that has defined her approach of seamlessly connecting interior and exterior. Her projects include The Motley – a 27-story, 325-unit residential tower under construction in Midtown; First Horizon Park – the 10,000-seat baseball stadium that houses the Nashville Sounds; the award-winning adaptive reuse of 225 Polk Avenue into creative office, and the current renovation and conversation of 424 Church Street from office into hotel. Kate's impact extends well beyond her project work. She is one of four co-founders of Nashville Design Week, a weeklong annual celebration of Nashville’s design and creativity that is currently in its ninth year. As HASTINGS' Licensing Advisor, she is also actively investing in the next generation of architects and interior designers at the firm.
