On October 27th, the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee hosted a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate their new 200,000 SF headquarters.

The new headquarters and distribution center for Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee is envisioned as a mission-forward, community-serving campus set on a generous site featuring a protected creek, pedestrian walking paths, and a shared community garden. The design establishes a welcoming, human-scaled environment while supporting the organization’s expanding operational capacity and deepening its community outreach. This project reframes the food bank not only as a logistics facility, but as a civic institution—one that reflects the local character of Middle Tennessee.
